Jay Dominick is the former Chief Information Officer of Princeton University. He oversees information technology infrastructure, administrative computing, information security, research computing, IT planning, and governance. He was instrumental in charting a steady course during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Princeton had to switch to a nearly fully remote environment for both students and faculty. He facilitated the use of technology to ensure the university remained open and operational.

Before joining Princeton, he spent time at UNC Charlotte and Wake Forest University in executive IT roles. He spent over 15 years as Wake Forest’s first CIO.
