Mel Crocker is the Chief Information Officer of Air Canada. His experience includes program delivery, cybersecurity, operations, transformation, and technology strategy. In his current role as CIO of Air Canada, he is accountable for the safe, secure, and reliable operation and evolution of all IT systems, including the functions of cybersecurity, digital, data, and artificial intelligence for Canada’s largest airline.
Before joining Air Canada, Mel spent time in executive IT roles at General Dynamics, Enbridge, and over 15 years in the Canadian Army.
